Common in Europe and in big cities in the US (think Faneuil Hall Street Performers Festival in Boston and the Festival of Fools in Burlington), street performer shows feature an international cast of street artists that produce laughs, chuckles, guffaws and applause, as well as generously filled hats, with an array of breathtaking, heartwarming and hilarious performances.

Who are these mysterious and often-times weird looking folks? Well they are known as buskers and they are gutsy street performers. They bring theatre to the street! FestiVille is a celebration of the circus arts and an opportunity to experience this unique art form with comedians, contortionists, magicians and mimes, sword-swallowers, human statutes, jugglers, escape artists and acrobats. The buskers will rotate around on Division Street throughout the day to different performance spots — also known as pitches. Expect to experience side-splitting comedy, eye-popping acrobatics and mind-bending daredevil stunts appropriate for all age groups!

FestiVille is now in its’ third year, bringing another international cast of professional rovers, acrobats, dancers, comedy characters, magicians and jugglers to Division Street. Additional activities include pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting and sand art along with lots of other neat stuff for people who like to have fun!
