Downtown Somerville Alliance Launches New Website to Promote Economic Vitality

Somerville, NJ - The Downtown Somerville Alliance (DSA) is proud to announce the launch of its new website, downtownsomerville.org, the culmination of an organizational rebrand that kicked off in 2020.

The website is a key component of the DSA's strategic planning and marketing, and is designed to promote the small businesses and economic vitality of the special improvement district in Somerville.

The DSA oversees infrastructure and beautification projects, markets the small businesses within the district, and hosts events that contribute to its growth and economic vitality. They work with community partners to maintain and promote the unique charm that characterizes the district.

"The launch of our new website isn't just a milestone that marks the finish of our rebrand, it's also the birth of a new and engaging tool to promote our district and the small businesses who power it," said Natalie Pineiro, Downtown Managing Consultant, Downtown Somerville Alliance. Pineiro notes that as downtowns navigate the post-COVID economy, adding new ways to showcase and promote small businesses is key to their survival and growth.

The DSA's rebranding effort included a refresh of its presentation, including a new logo and updated color palette. The logo was unveiled at the DSA's annual meeting in February and has started to be integrated into the organization's events, materials, and signage.

The new website will feature information about upcoming events, news, and updates on the DSA's projects, as well as a directory of businesses in the special improvement district. Visitors to the site will also be able to learn about the history and culture of the district, as well as the DSA's efforts to promote arts and culture as a driver for tourism and growth.

"We're excited to launch this new website as part of our ongoing efforts to promote economic vitality and support the small businesses in our district," said Pineiro. "We encourage everyone to visit the site, learn about the great things happening in Downtown Somerville, and get involved in our community."
