Tour of Somerville Sprint Tournament
Sunday evenings Sprint Tournament begins at 6 PM with the racers competing in qualifying heats which begin near Bridge St and finish on the traditional finish line in the vicinity of Davenport St. Men and Women Professionals will compete with the finals featuring some of the fastest cyclists in the world sprinting to the line at over 40 MPH. Local youngsters will be racing the same course between pro heats. This will feature the Champions of the Future and hopefully instilling the desire to become a bike racer in some of these kids.
